CellarsMonmousseau
The cellars of Monmousseau, an important site in terms of expertise and history, were built over a number of years out of tufa, following the extraction of stones for the construction of castles in the Loire Valley.
This is an authentic site, with 15 km of galleries on three different levels. It is open to visitors all year round and includes a circuit presenting the flavors of the Loire Valley’s terroirs.
The ideal and constant temperature of 12°C of this former quarry makes it the perfect place to produce MONMOUSSEAU wines according to traditional methods.

Guided tourDuring a guided tour of the winding 700-meter circuit, you will discover the different stages in the elaboration of wines according to the “méthode traditionnelle”.
